In August, VSR spoke with our COO, Cary Welsh, regarding point-of-sale systems that maintain and update their security compliance. As Welsh points out in this article, Cougar Mountain’s Point-of-Sale software is an integrated system that requires no re-entry of data, or synching of data of the register to the back office. Additionally items are sold, purchased and received all in the same application. Therefore easing the ability to set up and manage everything from one application which also includes security – data protection from unassigned employees to audit trails.
