Exporting to Excel

Cougar Mountain Software allows you to place your information into Excel, and there are two common ways to do it. The most common way is to use the Spreadsheet Export feature in GL:

Using the Spreadsheet Export feature you could use different accounts, different periods, and only actual dollars or their Profit and Loss, to add graphs or make their own report in MS Word etc.

But another way reports could be exported to Excel is by setting up the reports to save into your Cougar Mountain directory or even to a special EXCEL folder, by setting Cougar up to “Print” to a file (Options > Module Preferences > Print Options):

If you save your report files inside the CMS install directory, they will get backed up with your data:

**Additional Note: In CMS Professional 2010, the Export Reports to a CSV File option was added.
